Technical requirements
Technical preparations for video calls
- Use Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera browser.
- Use a desktop computer or laptop where both webcam and microphone are installed:
- Video call meetings can NOT be managed via the b2match Mobile App
- Check your audio quality, using headphones is highly advised
- Use a good webcam to improve image quality.
- To make sure that everything is set correctly, please go to your "Meetings" and click on the green camera button "Meeting starts in ..." - this will open the video call in your browser. You should see yourself!
- Double-check if you have selected a proper time-zone (see Menu: Edit my Profile) to not miss any meetings
- The video tool is already integrated onto this website, no Zoom, Webex, Skype or MS Teams is needed
- It is possible to have up to 4 participants in one video call through the platform. To add a colleague to the call, you can copy the link you find in the video call under "Invite guests".
What if my camera or microphone does not work?
- Please check that your browser does not block the usage of your camera/microphone due to security reasons. Depending on your browser settings you may be asked to confirm the activation of the camera/microphone through a pop-up dialogue form.
- How to enable the use of a microphone/camera in your browser?
- Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2693767
- Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-manage-your-camera-and-microphone-permissions
- Opera: https://help.opera.com/en/late...
- if none of the above works, consider switching to another laptop/computer to join the meetings.
B2Match App for checking your schedule
- You can download the app via Google Play (Android) or the Apple store.
- Registration via the app is not possible. Please register first via your browser. The app can only be used for managing your meeting schedule.
- The app cannot be used for video calls, you can only attend these using your browser.
- If you cannot attend the meeting please cancel it through the app so your meeting partner will get a notification.
Use the app to:
- Check the latest version of your meeting schedule through the b2match platform or app.
- Be informed about last-minute changes (bookings, cancellations) and manage additional meetings on-site (send/receive/confirm requests).
- Send a message to your meeting partner if you are running late or are waiting for them.
